In 2026, we’ll take another great step forward. With the launch of our online store, it will be even easier to discover Qarts and view our models online.

And that's not all. Behind the scenes, we're hard at work on something new... Rocket, a new Qarts model, is ready to take its first steps soon.

October 2025

QARTS makes history at Zoute Grand Prix.

2025

A fresh start with a new look.

After years in Westkapelle, Qarts is moving to a new location in Oostkamp, with extra space for growth, innovation and craftsmanship. At the same time, the company is launching a completely revamped corporate identity, complete with a new name and a modern website. From now on, you can easily explore all the models, accessories and options online. Browse through the brochure, be inspired and put together your ideal go-kart or cargo bike – entirely in your own style. And so a new chapter begins: Qarts is born.

September 2024

A new chapter: takeover by Charlotte and Arnaud.

With the acquisition of T&T Quality Go-Carts by Sourcing Partners, a fresh phase begins. The passion and craftsmanship behind go-cart production immediately captured the imagination. Charlotte Bau and Arnaud De Buysscher take over from founder Carl Gies, who will then fully focus on production.

January 2022

Partnership with Sourcing Partners

In 2007, Carl took over the go-kart manufacturer Turbo Karting and gave the company a new lease of life under the name T&T Quality Go-Carts. Later, in 2022, T&T Quality Go-Carts joined forces with Sourcing Partners, a metal supplier based in Oostkamp. Together, they laid the foundations for future-oriented growth.

1937

Innovation from our own region.

The moped manufacturer Flandria-Supreria from Zedelgem developed its own version of the popular butt cart. Thanks to their technical expertise and large-scale production, this iconic pedal vehicle from 1965 remained a familiar sight on the Belgian coast.

1927

First Belgian Go-cart.

In Bruges, Richard Proot built the first Belgian go-cart. His artisanal creations grew into a concept along the Belgian coast and were passionately crafted until 2006.

1885

A revolution on four wheels.

With the introduction of the British Coventry Rotary Quadracycle by James Starley, the first four-wheeled vehicle with bicycle pedals appeared. This groundbreaking design laid the foundation for pedal carts and go-carts as we know them today.

1853
First four-wheeled go-cart presented.

At the World Expo in New York, a four-wheeled go-cart was presented to the public for the first time. This innovative vehicle formed the basis for generations of pedal carts that still keep young and old in motion today.
